Join us for a party at 5:45pm before the 7pm Tennessee Ballet Theater 901 Stories show at the Medicine Factory at 85 Virginia W in downtown Memphis, one block south of Loflin Yard. With your ticket, you will receive appetizers, free drinks, including a craft cocktail created by Acre's mixologist Morgan McKinney, Memphis tunes and special pop-up guests from the 901 Stories cast, including aerial dancer Sarah Christine Bolton from High Expectations Aerial Arts. During the 7pm show, you will discover stories about Memphis history ranging from the William Faulkner's relationship with his muse and Memphis novelist Joan Williams to the 1920s gangster Machine Gun Kelly and his wife, his partner in crime. Enjoy a cocktail as you stroll along the walls of the building, once a medicine factory and now home to 14 working artists, enjoying pieces on display from Memphis artists including Judy Vandergrift, Betsy Brackin and Grace Porter, as TBT dancers bring the works to life through movement. Finish your evening with a creepy trip to the basement, where you will enjoy the spine-tingling tale of Lizzie Davies' haunting of the Brinkley Women's College in 1871, a story that gripped the entire city of Memphis for months, striking fear and excitement in the hearts of the citizens. It's a dance show. It's a party. It's both!
